Macie has returned to her old ways. At the end of December, I finally had Macie sleeping well. She would take 2 decent naps a day and sleep close to 11 hours a night. Well, it has gotten progessivly worse the last few weeks. She is not napping well, and she is waking up very early. I would not mind her waking up at 5 if she would go back to sleep. But, even when I feed her, she seems to be up for the day. Now that our house is empty again, I have been making her cry for a little while, but it doesn't seem to do any good.
I can not decide what is causing this. There are so many things the little one is having to deal with right now. I have not been able to spend as much time with her as I should be spending. We have been working on weaning her. She has been trying to learn to drink milk, but she only likes it warm from a bottle (This is an entire entry in and of its self!). She has run a fever on 2 different occasions in 2008. I THINK she is working on some teeth. As you can see there are too many things to figure out what the real issue might be.
I will just keep praying that she sleeps at night and rest enough tobe happy during the day!

She is adorable, I mean REALLY cute. And, the photographer is right. The dresses are super cute. If I ever have a little girl, you'll have to tell me where you shop. Our little boy is "all boy" so we're missing out on the sweet monogrammed clothes, etc. Anyway, Sandy, I sure hope she starts sleeping better for you. You know, you mentioned she's had a temp 2x's this year. So has Bryce. I thought Bryce was getting better, but he had a temp of 101 today and still has runny diapers (TMI, I know). It's been a solid week since he's been sick and wondering when it's going to get better.
Do you think the not sleeping is her teeth? Megan's top 2 front teeth are breaking through and the month leading up to this was horrible! Sounds like what Macie is doing. I hope it eases up and you all get some sleep!
