Last Day of Camp, Hugs and Thank You

Today is Carson's last day of Ant Camp at High Meadows. He has spent the last 3 weeks from 10-2 enjoying the outdoors. I was not sure about signing him up back in January when I had to decide. Three weeks seemed like so long, and it is not cheap. But, he has LOVED it. He was so sad that today is the last day. He has been swimming, riding a tire swing, riding horses, learning about living "green", visiting with Mother Nature, having a daily picnic, playing on the play ground, making fun crafts, and having the time of his little life. His buddy Carter told his mom "I knew I was going to have fun, but I did not know I would have the best time I have had in my whole life!" I have said this will be his only year because the cost (and # of hours) goes up next year, but he has had so much fun, I will actually consider letting him go again.

Here are a few pictures. I don't have many because I am not there!

Carson and Carter

Carson and Eli (Eli lives across the cul-de-sac and is 6 days older than Carson, but Carson has always been much taller than him. Eli has grown a good bit lately and is catching up to him.)

Showing off his shirt and headband he made at camp (His shirt should be red because he is a red ant. But, they made them Friday when he had to leave early so his got messed up.)

Waiting for carpool this morning.

All the boys..Carson and Carter in the back, Eli on the right and his little brother Asher up front.
I wish I could scan the picture they sent home with him. It is very cute, but it isn't working for me. Maybe I will get it working soon so I can share it. I would highly recommend looking into this camp if you have little ones. They can start when they are going into Pre-K. Amy it is perfect for your kids. As a matter of fact I could totally see you as a counselor too.

Now just for some Macie cuteness. I was trying to get her on video saying thank you this morning but instead she wanted to love on her brother. If you listen closely, she finally says it. But, seeing her hug on Carson is even cuter.
