Courage

On Sunday, our neighbor Miles was trying to ride his bike with out training wheels. Carson decided he wanted to try also. So, Jeff took off the training wheels with Carson and Miles there to help.
Then, they took off around the cul-de-sac and back to the house. Jeff was holding on the entire time. Then, we fell. But, Carson got up and right back on his bike. We tried again yesterday, but he has decided to put the training wheels back on for awhile. I must admit, Mom is happy about this decision.
Here is courage of another kind. Macie came downstairs after a nap and wanted to paint like Carson!
This is just a cute picture!
Tomorrow is meet and greet!

It is so hard to be the parent of a child learning to ride w/o training wheels! It kills your back. I remember Dawn taught me to ride. It probably is easier for a kid to hold onto the back than an adult. Training wheels make it much more fun!

Hard to watch them grow up - you realize how fast time is passing and how you can't get those minutes back. And that's a very cute picture of Macie painting... very courageous mom!

We took the training wheels off Gabby's bike and put them back on also! The girl's a gymnasit-- where is the balance? :)
