Macie has started crying when we put her down at night. She has been taking a long time to go to sleep at night for a little while. But, she has always just played in her crib and would adventually go to sleep. The last few nights she is crying more than playing. I hate it! We had been going in and checking on her, but I really think we need to let her cry. Shouldn't we be past the crying it out stage at 19 months?
Carson had a much better day today. I think he cried more before 9AM yesterday than he did all day today.

Oh I am so sorry. That's so frustrating. Is she teething or anything? I'll be saying a prayer that bedtime gets better.
It seems they understand the rule that only 1 child can cry at a time. Isn't that in the Bible somewhere? All I can say in re: to Macie, is thank heavens for Carson and the times he just went to sleep for you. You're sure her ears aren't bothering her, aren't you? It's always good to rule out the possibilities. It makes it easier to ignore the crying. Hang in there.
