Cute things they say, camp, and first potty

This picture is not related to the post, but I think it is very sweet.

Both the kids have cute things they say right now. Since I know I will never remember them, I thought I would share them here.

First, I always tell Carson he has a good memory. He will bring something up for 2+ years ago that I have forgotten. He has started to tell me "I have a good remembory". He will also tell you about the "turcano" that hit our house back in May. He has been attending Ant Camp" this week at High Meadows school. He loves it. They are learning about nature, horseback riding and playing in the pool. He comes home red faced and covered in sweat but very happy.

Macie is talking up a storm. You can not always understand what she says, and she will rarely say what you ask her to say. But, she does talk all the time. She tells me 100 times a day "I poopy". Sometimes she is, but sometimes, she just wants to play with a diaper. This morning she looked at Jeff and said "Byebye dada (or daddy-I have already forgotten)". She now says her name and calls just about every female some version on Mommy. She calls me Mama or Mommy, but she has also used it for Mitzi, Grandma and Aunt Debbie. I have to say it is not so cute when she throws a nice little tantrum complete with trying to kick me!

Yesterday evening when we got home from the pool, Macie went peepee on the potty for the first time. When Carson was 2 1/2, we would sit him on the potty as soon as we got home from the pool. He went almost everytime which led to him being potty trained. So, if I get around to it I put Macie on the potty when we get home. I have to say being the 2nd it is a rare occurance! But, yesterday she went while sitting there. I Carson was the most excited of everyone. I actually think I could work on potty training her, but honestly, I'm just not up for it right now!

Wow! I love hearing about what new things are going on in your life - it makes me realize what is to come... ok, not so excited about the kicking tantrum (I'm trying to get Megan off the trying to bite me thing). And Art camp sounds so fun - Carson is such a little artist, I'm sure he is soaking it all in!
