Happy New Year to everyone! We spent the evening with some of our neighborhood friends having great food and fun fellowship. We made an effort to keep all the kids in the basement, but that did not work out as well as we would have liked. But, with 9 kids the oldest being 6 1/2 and Macie being the youngest at almost 3, we did fairly well. We are really blessed to have great friends in our neighborhood.
I learned in 2008, that we never know what the new year is going to bring for us. I was sitting down at the computer to write a blog about my new year resolutions when I got the call that changed all of that. Instead, this is the what I blogged. God has worked through my mom's accident, but it certainly changed many things about our lives. This year we will pray for the best and hope that we live a life that is pleasing to God. Really what more can we hope for in a new year.
After we get all of Christmas down I hope to get some pictures off the camera and organized.

None of us will ever forget that January 2, 2008. May God bless you and all you love this year. We certainly DO know that he walks with us no matter what the new year has to offer.
