A few Macie stories..
Macie has started really trying to tell me what she wants. If she wants something to eat, she points at her mouth. Unfortunatly, she has a real sweet tooth. She is constantly asking for candy. She walks to the pantry and points at the door then her mouth. If I open the door, she climbs up on the stool and trys to open the container with candy in it. I have finally figured out what she wants when she points to the pantry door, so now I just tell her No. That always leads to a huge tantrum.
Macie has also started pointing to her mouth if she wants medicine. Carson has had an antibiotic because of the strep throat last week. So, she thinks she should have some too. She knows the cabinet we keep it in and she points to her mouth and the cabinet. Of course I say No, which leads to yet another big fit.
This morning, I was getting ready for MOPS. I opened the fridge to get her some juice. She likes to play in it as soon as I open the door. After getting her out, I close the door and go on with life. When we were about to leave, I asked Macie where her paci was. She looked for a minute and then went to the fridge and pointed at the door. When I opened it, she moved the juice and pulled out her paci.
As I type this she is eating left over pork she has pulled out of the fridge. She did not eat it when we had it for dinner, but if she finds it on her own, I guess she likes it.

Poor Macie. I only really remember 1 picture of you pitching a royal fit, but what is this, the 100th picture of her tantrums? Hang in there. Words are coming and life will never be the same.
I know that look....
Awww Macie, You were just on edge because you missed us this week, weren't you? :)
i know that look too. i have had many conversations with him about how it is not ok to have a fit just because he didn't get what he wanted when he wanted it. and i usually make him stop crying and say thank you for whatever i did for him right before he threw his fit. it is not fun though. here's to hoping they outgrow it soon.
I'm feeling extra sympathy for Macie right now -- as I want pictures of the beach NOW!
