10 Months

Our sweet girl is 10 months old today.

10m1

Getting pictures is getting hard now that she is on the move and getting to be a big girl.

10m2

She loves to be outside, so we moved outside to take the rest of the pictures. The weather has been great this week. Ellie loves to go sit outside and watch all the big kids play.

10m3

Don't you love how she is lifting her foot to get it out of the grass?

10m4

This month, Ellie has gotten 5 teeth. She is up to 8 now! She also had her first antibiotic. She has a double ear infection that was also in her eye.

10m5

Macie taught Ellie how to crawl out of the room this month. She looks so adorable crawling around the house. Today, she grabbed a sippy cup of water in her mouth and crawled back to the family room. She is not pulling up yet, but she loves to stand. She is starting to take a couple steps holding on to my fingers. It should be a while before she is walking . But, she still manages to get in some trouble.

Ellie finished nursing this last week. Like her brother she just quit. I don't think she was getting much milk anyway, but she finally just turned away. But, she eats like a champ. I think she would eat and entire chicken if I let her! She is just such a joy.

This last picture I took for Joy of Love on the Kiss day. I have not decided if I will use it, but I kind of like the way it turned out. I just held out the camera and snapped. Those of you doing the class with me can weigh in on what you think.

Joy of Love

I signed up for a free on line photography class for the month of February. Each day, I get a topic as well as a small lesson. So far I have learned I really need to find my camera book. I had it out a few months ago trying to figure some stuff out and now I can not find it. I am going to try to share all of my assignments. Here is what I have for Day 1- Day 4. By the way you are suppose to be photographing those you love.

Day 1-What they do...
C doing homework
This is Carson working on a project for Cub Scouts. We were suppose to use natural light. I did not get to take the picture until night, so I missed it. But, I took the picture without a flash. I also played around with different settings.

Day 2-How they look...

I love this one of Macie. She really is photogenic. She also loves to have her picture taken right now. I love the way I got the light in her eyes. Her eyes are the one feature that are just hers. The messed up hair and headband are how she looks when she wins the hair battle.

This is Ellie's favorite place to stand, so it is how she looks often these days.

Day 3-Then and Now...

I picked Macie and Ellie because I have picture of them on my computer. They are so young, you can see a big difference.

I found a few pictures of Macie in a little wagon when she had just turned one. So, I pulled it out and had her sit in it again. (Our lesson this day was cropping, but I didn't do that before I loaded it.)

Day 4-What they wear...
My boy wears jeans and tennis shoes almost every day to school. I tried to be creative with the pictures. I kind of like they way they turned out.

All of these pictures are without any editing. I will probably go back and make some edits. I wanted to go ahead and get them posted though.
