Yet another month has passed and Ellie is 7 months old today. It is a rainy day, so the lighting for our pictures is not great. Ellie is still cute though.

This month, Ellie got 2 teeth. The second one came in about 2 days after the first. We seem to be having a little break from teething pain, but I am sure it will be back soon. She is sitting up very well. Every now and then she still falls over, but she can sit for a long time. Ellie can roll both ways now. She mostly rolls around in her bed. She has started sleeping on her stomach then she will roll on to her back when she wakes up. She does not seem to be in a hurry at all to crawl. She is happy just staying in one spot. I am really hoping she waits another couple of months to get us through all the holiday decorations! I don't really want her to be able to get to the tree.

Ellie likes most of her food. Sometimes she does better than others. She seems to want to eat more solids than baby food. One day she reached over and took a chunk out of my apple. I have started giving her puffs and little pieces of banana. She can not get them into her own mouth, but she chews them up well once they are in there. Solid food has not helped with her pooping issues. Today she even had her first bottle of prune juice. (I have always believed you should only give formula or breast milk in a bottle and use cups for everything else. But, I really want the poor girl to have some relief.)

Ellie does not like it when Jeff and I leave her. It makes it hard to leave her with other people when you know she is going to be screaming. I mostly feel bad for the people who are caring for her. Although yesterday when I got to the nursery, she was sobbing. Carson had a little bit of separation anxiety, but he was older and would get over it. This is a new experience for me.

She has gone back to sleeping for the most part. She goes 8 or 9 hours and then wants to eat and will sleep several more hours. She is almost always the last one up in the house. If we are home, she naps well too. You just plop her in her crib and she will go to sleep. I don't know if it was adding reflux medicine or getting the teeth, but it makes for a happier mom.

We moved up to a size 3 diaper mostly because we were out of 2s. She weighs close to 16 pounds according to our scale. I think she looks big, but the charts say that is still small. But, with her small size she still brightens our days with her sweet face. (The last couple of pictures are from a couple weeks ago)

Feel for you with the whole separaion thing.... know it well. I bet once she can figure out how to get the food in her mouth, she'll take off with solids.
I love the pictures. I can't wait to snuggle her in person.
