I figure it is time for an update and a couple of pictures. We are doing well and adjusting to our family of 5. I am much more rested than I was at the end of my pregnancy. Ellie has been a little angel when it comes to sleeping. She had a couple of night where she was up for a few hours. But, for the most part, she has been great. She goes down at about 10 or 11 and will go from 4 to 5 hours before she wakes up to eat. Most of the time she goes right back to sleep in her cradle and sleeps until it is time for someone in our house to get up. She also sleeps away a lot of the day. The one issue she is having is she spits up a lot. She does not do it every time she eats, but when she does it is a large amount. She has spit up more in 2 weeks than Carson and Macie combined. I am going to have to make sure I always have a change of clothes for both Ellie and me when we go out.
Here she is sleeping in the pack n play. She does great sleeping with the noise of everyone else. This is actually just a few minutes ago.

I love this picture of Carson working on his home work. He was writing a final draft for a book he is writing for school. I think it is a little funny to think about having a rough draft of anything in Kindergarten.

Last Saturday, Jeff had a special morning with Macie. He took her to the nail salon and had her finger nails and toe nails painted. I know I am a little biased, but I really think she gets prettier every day. If she would let us do something with her hair, it would be even better.

It has been so warm, we pulled out the baby pool last week. This is after Jeff came home from work and found the older ones in their bathing suits.

And one final picture of a sweet little sleeping angel.

I loved the pictures. It made me miss all of you even more. I'm glad that Ellie is back to sleeping well for you.
I just love how babies sleep with their hands like that. Awwww.
Have you tried holding Ellie up for 20 minutes after feeding? I know that is when you want to just put them down and go to bed yourself, but it really helped with Jacob's spitting up. Just an idea - take it or leave it. :)
I'm with you in the taking a change of clothes with you. Does it hurt little Ellie or is it just an inconvience? I have to do what Holly suggests and keep Nicole upright for 30-45 minutes after eating (a major pain). But she's also on 2 reflux meds now - I'm just praying she outgrows this fast. They only gave her 2 months of medicine because they believe she will.... oh I hope they are right! So maybe Ellie will grow out of her spitting up asap! And if she's not uncomfortable - hey it's just spit up.
And all your kiddos are absolutely beautiful. Tom was also very impressed with Jeff taking Macie to get her nails done. Very cool!
I love that picture with Jeff and the kids. Precious!
