Weekend Part 1

We had a fairly busy weekend. Grandma came from Orlando to visit, we had a church picnic, and Friday we had Cole and Connor all day. Needless to say, I have several posts to get caught up on today. I am sure it won't happen quickly, but since I have a few minutes I thought I would start with Friday.

Mitzi went with our MOPS steering committee to Dallas for the MOPS convention. Somehow, I got the short end of the stick and had to keep her boys Thursday and Friday as well as run the MOPS meeting on Friday. All in all it went well. Grandma was here to help. It made it much easier to deal with 4 kids with and extra set of hands.

We started the day by going to MOPS. That made the day much shorter. We left there and spent some time at Carson's favorite place Chic-fil-a. Later that afternoon, Dad, Carolyn, Randy, and Mom came over to work on the play set. Well, Dad and Randy really did the work. Mom visited with Joan and Carolyn helped keep the boys out of trouble while they were working on the sand box.

Macie, Connor, Carson, and Cole. Cole did not get the memo to wear orange.

Macie on the swing. This is the only way she wants to be on it.

After the work was finished, Mom, Joan, Dad, Carolyn and Randy hing out on the deck for a little while.

Meanwhile, Carson had convinced Cole and Connor to come on and build a big track.

Hope you had a great weekend. I will work on another post soon. Blogger is acting wacky again.. Sorry if the spacing is off today.
