First, Congratulations to Jeff. They announced his promotion yesterday. He is excited about it.
Macie went to the doctor on Thursday. She did not make it to 20 pounds so she will have to stay rear facing a little longer. She was 19 pounds 3 ounces, the 25th percentile, 29 1/2 inches, the 75th percentile, and the 25-50th percent for her head-I don't remember the number. She has been in the same percentiles for most of her life.
She got 3 shots, and has not seemed to feel great since then. Her white blood count was a little elevated at the doctor. I am not sure if the feeling bad is the shots, teeth, or a little bug.
We are having her birthday party today, so hopefully she will rest well today and enjoy herself.
Today is also the anniversery of Catie's death. In stead of gifts for Macie's bday we are collecting money for CURE childhood cancer in Catie's memory. I hope none of you ever have the need for their services, but it would be great to have a cure for all kids. We just learned of a little girl Carson's age who use to live down the street who has just diagonsed with Neuroblastoma. If any one would like to make a contribution, let me know and I will get you the information. Also remember Catie's family and her little sister Izzy. Izzy will be one in a few days. I still can not imagine what last January was like for Jenny and Tre'.

I'm thinking of you guys today. Originally, we were going to be out of town at my parents, but Bryce got sick with a contagious intestinal virus (not fun) and we just can't risk him being around my dad. So, then I thought maybe I'd come up for Macie's party while Michael watched Bryce. Then, it snowed. So, that's three strikes!! Plus it's probably not wise for me to be around a bunch of cute kids just in case I have this virus somewhere on me. So, long story, but I do wish Macie a happy birthday, Jeff a congrats on his promotion and Sandy/Rene/Family a hug as I'm sure today will be hard with the absence of your mom.
Amy
P.S. I saw that Macie hasn't hit the 20lb. mark yet at her 1 year appointment. When we took Bryce to the Dr. yesterday, he was 20.5 lbs. at 6.5 months. They're literally just about the same size!!
I just tried to post to the CaringBridge site but then when I clicked the Save button it gave me a Page Can Not Be Displayed and I can't get back in. All that to say, what I wrote was that I would like to come visit at lunch one day this week if that would be ok. I can come any day but Thursday. Just let me know what day would be better if it's ok.
